HAZERLIGHT

Between Ireland and Nashville, Hazerlight has been quietly building a world of sound that feels both intimate and cinematic — a place where acoustic warmth meets electronic atmosphere, and emotion lives in every detail. The project is the vision of an Irish writer, recording engineer, and producer whose music drifts between alt, folk, post-rock, and electronic textures.

Hazerlight’s journey began with a guitar and an obsession with sound. What started in small Irish towns — playing in rock bands, learning the craft in recording studios — grew into a transatlantic pursuit of tone and truth. In Dublin, Hazerlight honed engineering skills alongside some of Ireland’s most respected artists, before moving to the U.S. to explore new sonic landscapes. Florida brought experimentation and collaboration; Nashville brought focus and fire.

Every Hazerlight song is built with intent and depth. On tracks like “Lay It Down,” six acoustic guitars blend in intricate unison with high strings from a 12-string — a painstaking layering that creates the project’s signature “angelic” shimmer. The result is music that feels handcrafted yet weightless, rooted in storytelling but expansive in scope — like the space between reflection and revelation.

Influenced by artists such as Bon Iver, Radiohead, Sigur Rós, and Ben Howard, Hazerlight’s sound finds beauty in contrast — organic and digital, delicate and bold, solitary yet universal. It’s music made to move both heart and picture, equally at home in headphones or on a cinematic screen.

Now, as new releases emerge from studios in both Nashville and Ireland, Hazerlight stands at the start of something luminous — a project born of craft, patience, and the quiet pursuit of transcendence.

This is Hazerlight.
